inspiration

The Mia’s team had no interest in creating the next “it” confection. They were interested in the classics, pure and simple. Our thought: what could be more “Brooklyn” than that? Because if there’s one thing New Yorkers pride themselves on more than having the latest and greatest, it’s being the original.

Our goals for the Mia’s website were few but required much consideration. The first was to bring the heart and soul of the brand into the online realm. A perfectly positioned photo montage merges the inspiration for the brand with the classic product in a balanced, symmetrical presentation.

Branded accents such as the iconic Mia’s Brooklyn Bakery pattern and angular chevron shapes suggestive of their logo, combined with their signature rich chocolate and cream tones, bring the brand aesthetic into the digital space.

Mia’s extensive baked goods menu was thoughtfully broken out into well-organized sections with streamlined flavor listings and pricing. Their most important content was meant to be savored, not just digested.
